It seems that running around after a toddler who had 'found his personality' and caring for a newborn have had the result of making my jeans too big! I'm I a right budget and am looking for recommendation for decent, flattering and inexpensive jeans please. I'm a 12-14 and 5'4 in flats.

How are Zara on sizing? I've always been under the impression that you have to be quite skinny for most clothing there but I'd be happy to be told otherwise!

i am 14 and wear 16 or 44! so they are small

pudseypie · 17/09/2013 08:10

I'm a size 14 and I like Next everyday slim fit jeans. They are £26 and I wear them to death.

Asda are really good, size up though. Per una are really comfy for all the bending and stretching looking after a toddler entails and are around £30. M&S often have sales on too.

£12.50 jeans in M&S are worth a look. Have heard lots of people rave about them. Not sure on sizing.

I like Falmer jeans - Matalan sell them. Around £20 ish - just bought vintage straight cut ones which fit like a glove.

DP jeans are usually quite good - offers on at the moment too..

Surprisingly I bought 2 pairs of really good jeans from sainsburys,a skinny pair and a boyfriend pair and £30 for both of them.
They are very flattering, soft denim and look great.

New Look are excellent for jeans.

New Look biker skinnies are great and are £23 (www.newlook.com/shop/womens/jeans/black-biker-skinny-jeans-_279321701) and the Zara TRF ones are excellent.

Thank you! I will check these out. I used to love DP ones but the last ones I bought- over a year ago just weren't as good quality at all unfortunately.
