M&S have measured her as 36A. Shocked at back size as she's only size 6-8 although her bust is still v small.

Under bust measures 30", bent over boobs 35.5".

Planning in taking her bra shopping again at weekend but without the 'help' ...so what size should I be looking at oh wise ones?

TIA

Not sure if it matters but she does like the lightly padded, non underwired ones......

I would suggest 30dd/e as a starting point.
36a Shock

Btw (not that you probably care) your dd is lucky to have you as a mum. Getting her started wearing the right size bra can only be a good thing for her breasts and back in years to come.

I agree, start with a 30dd. M&S actually have some lovely slightly padded, non wired pretty bras in. I bought some a few weeks ago with dd. they have no idea about fitting but the bras are nice.

Yep, good thing you are putting some thought into this. My mum never even registered I needed bras, much less proper ones. It was left to family friends to badger me into wearing a bra. I still rue the wasted teenage years, decades on. My boob related slouch looks 'orrible!

Grr! How on earth did m and s even get to a 36??!! Bonkers.

StatisticallyChallenged · 16/09/2013 21:26

I'm a 30 who M&S shove in a 36 too. They measure too loosely so 30 becomes 31, then add 5. eejits

Small hijack as bra gurus are about.
EMUZ (under NC until I remember to change back!) here. I posted that the wire had come out my darling heart bra, and I got a dotty spot as replacement. 3 wears and the wire has come out Shock what is going on?!

StatisticallyChallenged · 16/09/2013 23:05

That's very odd, I've not lost a wire in years! How are you washing them?

goodasitgets · 16/09/2013 23:33

Me neither until these two Sad
The darling heart was about 5 months old, hand washed every time and air dried, dotty spot I've had less than a week! So haven't even washed the damn thing yet
