Best maternity jeans

I live in my jeans so want to invest in a couple good pairs for winter this year. But oh the choice! I can’t afford to go too upmarket (so J Brand is out of the question) but I’ve heard good things about Seraphine. And what about cheaper places like New Look/TopShop/H&M? I know Zara did a maternity range at one point but I’m not sure if they still do. And annoyingly Gap’s maternity clothes are now “exclusively online”, meaning you can’t just go into a store and try them on!

I liked H&M and Next. The Zara ones were nice but so long I would have had to but about 20 cm off.

My advice is don't buy any without walking in them for a while in the changing room.

I must be a weird shape because every single pair of mat jeans I own (and I have a lot of different brands during two pregnancies) fall down.

I loved my Gap ones, very dark blue skinnies. Not too expensive but didn't look cheap. www.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?cid=89716&vid=1&pid=000426224000

I bought things from them had them ordered tried on and took back to shop if didn't work.

Next are elusively online too now. Very annoying. I brought 2 pairs of the underbump variety anyway this week as I no longer fit into my normal jeans without feeling a pinch and kind of regret it as they are a bit baggy on the bum and thigh, but fit the waistline. I wish I could have tried a few pairs on in a shop before buying, but oh well, they will do!
