Botox experiences please? Am I too young?

I'm 32. I have generally good skin (except for enlarged pores which I hate) but my number 11s are noticeable. I also feel like my eyes are a bit hooded because my forehead skin has sort of dropped.

I figured that some Botox in the forehead region would lift my eye area a bit and would get rid of the 11s.

Can anyone talk me through having Botox, how much you paid, if you thought it was good and what age you had it at? TIA Grin

I've been looking into this. At 37 I have all 3 problem areas, I've not heard of baby Botox though.

ElBombero · 18/09/2013 22:29

Baby Botox is something I've never heard of as a practitioner but if you tell them what you want ie a natural look with movement they will adapt treatment...

ElBombero · 18/09/2013 22:31

Frantically I think generally a good pratituoner is found through word if mouth, if noone has been recommended though I would advise you go to a proper practice / private hospital (think Spire / Harley med / transform) you know then they are proper nurses with the right qualifications, insurance and back up if anything goes wrong. Whereabouts are you?

franticallyjugglinglife · 18/09/2013 22:44

I'm in wiltshire... Near Bath. Any recommendations?

ElBombero · 19/09/2013 08:23

Too far from my area to recommend anyway, but Spire hospitals/transform/Harley med are nationwide I recommend those instead of subbed shops/back street beauty salons

bigkidsdidit · 19/09/2013 08:32

busyboysmum · 19/09/2013 18:49

Go on then Foxy, spill.

Justconfused · 19/09/2013 19:38

I would say DO NOT go to a place like Harley Medical ( just google how they treated their PIP breast implant patients !) .. You need to go to someone who ideally is a qualified doctor .. At least as their background, s/he may now have decided to focus on the aesthetic side.

Monadami · 19/09/2013 20:31

Elbombero. Can I ask, did you have to become a Registered Nurse before practicing as an Aesethic nurse? This is something I'm really interested in and considering studying Nursing just so I can get a job working in a clinic and doing injectables.

Scarletohello · 19/09/2013 23:59

Please is there any chance people who have had successful Botox would be willing to share details of their practitioners? I would love to have it done but am scared of it going wrong, looking plastic/ fake etc! Anyone up for sharing..?

ThePuffyShirt · 20/09/2013 00:16

I have it done by a dentist. It is £235 for 3 areas. I have 11s, forehead and crow's feet.

Mine lasts the best part of a year (am 43) and apart from the fresh appearance it gives me, it completely eliminates any headaches.

People constantly ask me now what I use on my face, but no-one has guessed it is Botox.

ElBombero · 20/09/2013 07:03

Monadami, yes I am a registered nurse firstly. Went into this much later.

As for not wanting to go to a larger organisation I know what your saying about the PIP , just thought for the first timer it's the safest option. A doctor can go on a days course to do the treatments, I wouldn't want that!
Experience n recommendations is what you want ideally which is why I thought bigger organisation

ElBombero · 20/09/2013 07:04

I just want my eyes done. Botox any good for that?

squoosh · 20/09/2013 22:58

I don't think they recommend botox being injected around the eye area.

LadyHarrietdeSpook · 20/09/2013 23:02
