converse , wich jacket ?

if at the grand old age of 38 i were to wear a pair or converse or vans or similar , what sort of jacket or coat would look good with them ?
i am 5ft 1 size 8 iof that matters ?
or am i just too old anyway ?

I wear Converse a lot and just yesterday bought a tweed blazer/riding jacket. It looked great with jeans, top and Converse in store so bought it because of that!

I also have an army style jacket it works with well. I personally find they're better with shorter jackets rather than longer coats.

And I'm 37 and know loads of women my age who wear Converse/Vans. Teenagers might sigh when they see us, but they have no sense anyway

Wear any coat you like with them - I think you may be overthinking this!

I know lots of over 40's who wear converse - with a variety of coats - Boden type macs, denim jackets, etc etc.

I like a fitted blazer type or my purple Barbour, anything goes!

i know i am very -ocd- particular sometimes . i was sort of thinking a smart jacket wouldnt go because they are casual or a military one would be wrong and other such rubbish ! i have no clue really !

I'm 36 and wear them with skinny jeans and a navy blazer or with Hush hareem trousers and a long cardigan. I see lots of mums on the school run in them

I wear mine with everything-blazer, boucle jacket, north face. Anything goes with converse.
