I've been trying to find a new, warm, waterproof winter coat and finally decided on a Didriksons Lindsey....discontinued. So then decided on a Merrell Wakefield....discontinued. Then thought I'd go for a Merrell Ellenwood....can't get the colour/size combo I want. After another rethink decided on the Didriksons Naomi....you guessed it, can't get the size/colour combo again. Totally pissed off and have now resigned myself to being cold & damp again this year. Grrrr.....

I did see that one but my absolute max budget is £150 so def. don't want to pay top dollar for some thing that might not fit and I can't return.

Oldbag, thanks for that but the one at £153 seems to the the uninsulated one. I'll give TK Maxx a try as I have a voucher for there....which of course means I'll not see anything I want to buy... Sod's law!

What size/ colour merrell do you want? Field and Trek usually have good prices.

Probably the grey/green colour (called Heather, I think) in a medium. Have searched high and low but to no avail. I'm heading into TK Maxx tomorrow for a good rummage. Fingers crossed!

Thanks finlaysmum but unfortunately the size I need (M) is the only one they don't have....unless someone can tell me Merrell's are large made and a small might do (she says hopefully?!)
