Just getting rid of maternity clothes and found my non-maternity Topshop cape which I wore 3 years ago when pg with DS. Do I get rid or get it on?

Try it on and see! If you feel good in it then it makes no difference if they're cool or not.

Of course they're cool. Superheroes wear them Grin

I love capes.

I have one (M&S) but I need to take it somewhere to have a fur-ectomy on the sleeves Grin

I'm going to wear it on our Christmas Family Day Out.
DH muttered about me "walking round on my own"

He has NO clue. Hmm

I love them, I have 2, and a poncho.
I'm not cool though... or a superhero

I think sometimes you always see a piece of clothing in a certain way though.
I remember a lovely shirt I practically lived in, whilst pregnant with Ds1. Even though it was non maternity, I've never worn it since.
Every time I tried it on, I felt fat... even though I wasn't.

I've got an M&S one too, bought on impulse last year, had masses of compliments when wearing it. It's very draughty up the sleeves though, need gloves that reach the sleeves of your top underneath it in cold weather.

I have the same issue. Bought a poncho from next last year when pregnant and am eyeing it up in the wardrobe. I like it, it's non maternity but feels a little bit wrong. Probably because I'll be rocking it with skinny jeans and boots exactly as I did last year.

Seen a link to a cape in sainsburys on here, it looks lovely.

I'm going with cool, as long as you can get the pregnant thing out of your head!
