Funeral Wear

Panicing - have a funeral to go to today and the black dress I was going to wear is a bit tight upon trying it on this morning...the only other thing I have that is remotely suitable is this. Will it be okay do you think?

Link?

Very few people wear black to funerals these days ime. As long as you aren't wearing a red skirt up to your bum pretty much anything goes.

Have you got anything navy? Last funeral I went to loads of people were wearing pale colours and florals! Just wear something in muted colours

Someone wore a plum trouser suit to my grand mother's funeral. My aunt wore a navy skirt and floral blouse to my uncle's.

black seems to be the rule still at the 4 funerals i have been to over the last 2 years.
this does surprise me in this day of more casual dressing tbh. i wore navy to one of them and was the only one not in black. hats are unusual now though.
sorry for your loss
