When you are just doing stuff at home and want to be comfy?

Thanks everyone for the ideas. Think I will give them a try! Where do you think is the best place to get leggings size 16 that won't go baggy too fast?

In the winter, dark grey track suit bottoms from m and s and a green snuggly baggy cashmere jumper. The trousers are about 15 years old and fairly slim cut. And slippers or slipper socks. I've got some wool knitted harem type things from hush but the waistband has unravelled and they go very stretched at the knees and arse.

In the summer, shorts and vest, or this year a dark grey strapless cotton playsuit, sounds dreadful but is nice. £7 h and m. Have worn and worn.

Am I the only one who doesn't find leggings terribly comfy? I'd love to be all attractive in my home uniform of slouchy jumper thing and leggings, but I get annoyed by them just clinging to my legs, so after half an hour I'm back in my tracky bottoms. I do feel a bit embarrassed when my neighbour pops in and sees me dressing like this, though.

jetstar · 12/09/2013 22:07

Well, I haven't worn leggings since the last time they were in fashion so I'll let you know... Wink

I just wear normal clothes - jeans usually.

Sleepwhenidie · 12/09/2013 22:41

I promise, those raffis are not ordinary leggings, the waistband doesn't dig in at all and the fabric feels softly clingy rather than grippy...yet not baggy like tracky bottoms or pj's - it's hard to explain!

An alternative would be to splash out on some cashmere jiggers like these but then you are talking lots more ££.

Sleepwhenidie · 12/09/2013 22:43

Jetstar - go and try the raffis on in a 14 I think they'd be fine because of the fabric (warning, don't try this with anything else in Allsaints though - they aren't known for their vanity sizing understatement).Wink

Yoga trousers
Hoody
Bedsocks

That's pretty much my standard evening uniform. (s-e-x-y, oh yeah...).

MacaYoniandCheese · 12/09/2013 22:53

Yoga pants and a long sleeved t-shirt. I cannot relax in jeans or tights/skirts.

libertychick · 12/09/2013 22:57

Oh sleep what have you done??? Now I feel I NEED those cashmere joggers....sitting on my hands...

libertychick · 12/09/2013 22:59

OP - I wear an ancient pair of black Next joggers or PJ bottoms and grey Gap sweater.

Sleepwhenidie · 12/09/2013 23:31

Oops...sorry Liberty Grin. I regularly battle temptation on those too Smile.
