Help - winter footwear dilemmas

Am really struggling to choose some winter footwear and am hoping desperately for help and / or inspiration. Am 5'6 but with short legs (long back), and 21 weeks pg. I've bought some maternity clothes (largely wrap dresses, Breton tops, 1 x leggings and 1 x skinny (ish)jeans), but need to stop wearing them with trusty flip flops/Birkies now the weather has turned. I like the way ankle boots look, but find whenever I try them they cut me off at a bad leg length, iykwim, so I look short/plump. I feel I could benefit from a bit of a heel but then started wondering about brogues...
Aaaaaargh! Am not afraid of colour in shoes, but need them to be as multi-tasking as possible.

Can anyone help?

I wore jalouse when preggers, ankle boots but with a heel and a flattering line - a sort of V shape at the front.

Wedges might also give a heel but be comfy.

oh and I think brogues would get to be too much of a faff to tie up as the bump gets bigger if you see what I mean...Grin

Remember as you get more pregnant your feet may swell and bending down to put shoes on becomes a thing of the past! Get something you can slip on without to much effort.

Thank you all! Wedges could work-will have a look around
