Has anyone got one? I have a few questions!

How tall are you cardoon and how long is it on you? What other options did you consider? I have the arctic parka but its just too long and frumpy on me.

I've got one. I'm 5'4" and it covers my arse comfortably. Parka swamped me.

Im looking at that one too! What would you say the sizing is like? I'm between an S and an M and I'm not sure what to go for.

I'm about a 10 on top 12 below... 5'3"... Im scared of making another size mistake as lots of this kind of coats feel really tight on the hips

I'm very similar shape MissWD, and I've got a small - it's fairly snug on the hips, but not too small. I'd go for small if I were you but make sure you buy from somewhere with free returns - or do a special trip somewhere you can try on - it's a lot of money at stake so you want to get it right. I must have spent hours over a period of weeks hanging about in various North Face outlets dithering about which one to get.

Thanks. My arctic parka is a S I am similar size it is a bit snug on hips but the M was enormous on the shoulders. My brother is off to the US next week and has been instructed to bring one back for me. Meanwhile I will get to a shop to try one on just to make sure it will be ok.

Hmmm see now I'm umming and erring. I have a feeling the M will be huge on top and that swamps me but I also hate having o stretch things over my rather large bottom

I ended up spending a fair bit in return charges last year and still didn't end up with anything so I'm very wary!

Could you order from somewhere that do free returns, amazon maybe?
