How do I work out my bra size?

I can't find any of the other threads to work it out.

I'm 39 inches under bust and 50 inches round the fullest part while leaning over.

I'm currently wearing 40E and am breastfeeding 14 month old DD. But she hardly feeds during the day now and I want some nice non BF bras to wear.

Mckayz I've been looking too. Oddly enough my measurements are exactly the same as yours (although im not breastfeeding. I wear a 40DD or 42C. Depends on the bra really but ive never had a comfortable feeling in bras, always feel like im wearing the wrong size.

Marking place to see what the bra experts say.

Band size is more likely to fit better rounded down so 38.

Cup size start point would then be about H or HH.

Be prepared to try a few until you find something that suits you- it's like shoe shopping

Just remeasured and I would say im nearer 41inches under bust and 49inches at fullest part leaning over.

Ok so I'll look for 38H/HH. That sounds huge!!

cubedmelon You'd still be likely to be at least a 40G. Don't rule out the 38H either!

Fitting advice here

I've always been measured at M&S as a 36D, I went to them about 7weeks pregnant as my boobs had grown so much and they said 38D despite me saying this didn't seem right, I should have stuck to my instinct!!
measured myself using this guide and I got 32F which I thought couldn't be right surely!!! I've just been to bravissimo and they put me in a 32GG or 34F!!!!! and wow so so so much more comfortable what a difference I actually feel supported!

I've ordered a 38H that was in the sale. So then if it fits nicely I can buy some more.

It has just arrived. Speedy service from Brastop.

It feels great! I think it looks good too, really comfy and I am very pleased with it.

Now just to find some more nice bras!!
