DVF wrap dresses... Are they worth the £££s?

Just that really. One's taken my fancy and DP says he'll buy me one for my birthday if I really want one. Do I? Are they worth the money?

It's worth keeping an eye on this US ebay seller: DVF and More

I have one that has lasted around 10 years and still going strong!

I bought one in a NY DVF outlet but only wore it once before selling it on.

I'm short, but slim & it just didn't fit me right across the boobs & was too long. I looked dumpy Sad. Having said that, it looked lovely hanging in my wardrobe Grin

I don't like the wraps (have boobs) but love a lot of the other dresses and am wearing one now... only ever buy them in the Matches sale or at Bicester so half price or less.

I got mine at Bicester Village. Love it, very flattering. I'm 5'5.5", size 10 again having lost some weight and I tried mine on again today while doing a wardrobe clear out. I'm not sure about sizing - mine says size 12. I assumed they were American sizes which would make it a UK16 but if that's the case then the sizes come up v v small. I do have biggish boobs though (30F) so maybe that's why I need a bigger size. Or maybe they sell them for UK market with our sizing? Sorry, not massively helpful. I would say they are worth the money but might be hard to guess size if buying online.

Definitely look out for them on the Outnet or wait for the sales - they're always majorly reduced (there are some bargains on the dvf site at the moment - I've bought directly from there lots of times and rate the service). I have one and love it despite not being a wrap dress fan generally but I wouldn't pay full price.

I have one, but haven't worn it for at least six years since I got pregnant with DC1. It's prob still in the back of the wardrobe.
I never found it particularly flattering, possibly as am v flat chested and I think other styles work better on me. I've dropped a size since having DCs and gained a couple of cup sizes, so it may look better now. (Well once I've given birth again, presuming I go back to previous figure.)

Where can you buy them?
