Was on my way home with lots of shopping when had to squeeze between builders van parked up on pavement and the wall of next doors house and in the process scraped my new oak bayswater tote on the wall. I have scuffed the leather really badly on one bottom corner. Any advice about how or what to treat it with ??!!

Stealth boasts are meant to be stealthy.

You should probably just give it to me... You wouldn't want to be seen with a scuffed Bayswater Grin

That made me smile reggiebean. It was an anniversary present from my husband only a few weeks ago. I'm starting to feel a bit daunted by the responsibility of it now !! Am going to have to hide it from him before he sees it......

Very Envy babyblackbird! On a serious note, try taking it to a Mulberry store if there's one near you, they should be able to give you leather polish. Otherwise, check with a good cobbler nearby and see if they might have polish that matches.

Good luck!

Is there a Mulberry after-purchase service?

reggiebean · 10/09/2013 12:58

Yes, they're meant to be very, very good at their customer service (not that I've ever dealt with them Envy)

nocarsgo · 10/09/2013 12:58

Ask the experts on the Mulberry section of the Purse Forum. I'm sure they'll have some advice.

At risk of being laughed at, what's a 'stealth boast'?

reggiebean · 10/09/2013 13:02

It's like a humble brag... You slip in the brag with your complaint, i.e. I can't get the new car smell out of my new Jag...

Tweet2tweet · 10/09/2013 13:04

Thank you. I'm obviously not the owner of anything worth bragging about Wink

babyblackbird · 10/09/2013 13:22

Thanks for replies. I have ordered some of the care product recommended by Mulberry but from Amazon as a lot cheaper and now off to check out / discover the purse forum. Thanks for taking time to help.
