Struggling with tan boots

Any boot aficionados out there - your help is greatly appreciated.

I have my first ever Mulberry bag the Effie in tan and I need an everyday brown boot that will look good with it.

I live in London but walk everywhere, so I want something that looks good, with a slight heel, but a soft heel ifkwim. I had some that looked like a cuban heel but were actually rubber and they were fab. Fell apart as I wore them into the ground. Shuh still have these in stock but I think they are the wrong colour for the bag (more taupe). Colour doesn't have to be matchy matchy, just something that goes better than taupe.

Would be good if the boot could be worn in spring and cold summers with bare legs - so not something with a warm lining. Slightly lower than knee high - ie more mid calf - suits me best.

Anyone up for the challenge?

I have lovely KG boots the same colour. They are really comfy and look smart. They would go very well with that bag so if you could just pop it in the post, I'd be grateful. Grin

Aww, I would but after the bag I can't afford the postage :)

DH got it for my bday - my first non-high street bag! Are they old boots or still in stock.

I bought [http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=271270041115 these]] last year. They are lovely and comfy and you can slouch them down if you want.

Damn these

I really like Clarks desert grazer in sand but they might be a bit more casual than you're looking for. Can't link but loads on eBay.

BigW · 09/09/2013 21:29

They're last year's but they're ankle boots, so not quite what you're looking for.

I have these which are gorgeous and very comfortable (I've just come back from a whole day's shopping in them).

Only available in a 40 now though.

I am a 40 in some! Some good suggestions, particularly like the office ones Whitecat. The Clarks are good but yes as I can only get one pair I want ones that can look a bit more weekday/evening out in town and they are more casual. Love those woven ones Mrs Noodle, do they go with skiets and tights and also bare legs? I have some black ones of similar shape and they are a bit wide at the neck (neck...?) for my little ankles to look good with a skirt.

They are just below mid calf, slightly slouchy and in a relaxed way go with less structured skirts and dresses.

You're a 40? Lucky thing, they are a complete bargain now.
