Anyone used nioxin system 2

Hi. I have posted in the past(might be under a different nickname) about my hair loss. This has been going on for 7 years, I believe stress and anxiety are the main causes.
Anyone I've tried so many thanks such as nourkrin, caffeine shampoo, aveda trial, zinc, iron. Lately I have been taking wellwoman original and the have helped with my nails but hair is still falling out. My bloods came back slightly anaemic so the wellwoman helps with this.
I used nioxin for the first time tonight and my scalp felt very tingly and so I googled this. Really wish I hadn't as so many horrid things have come up such as it containing cancerous ingredients and it causes more hair loss. So I washed my hair twice to get rid of it...madness I know.
Has anyone any wise words for me? Feel very silly but the anxiety is going to make more lose more hair, wish my friend hadn't recommend it.
Btw, sorry if this is in the wrong section but have read discussions here about hair so thought someone might be able to help me.
Tia

I've used Nioxin system 2 on recommendation of my hairdresser and it did work for me (not using it at the moment as pregnant and nature seems to be being kind in terms of hair loss). the tingle on your scalp is completely normal

Thanks for your response. How long did the tingle last for? I have got my anxiety so worked up that I think my scalp is burning despite it being 4hrs since I used it and 3hrs since I washed it off. I have checked my scalp and there is no redness so this must be pshycological. This must be down to my anxiety rather than the product.
I will go to bed and try to put this to the back of my head
Thanks again

I thought the tingling was probably down to the mint/menthol in it..a bit like the Original source shower gel.

The tingling doesn't last for long (for me), it is definitely like a menthol/mint kind of feeling, where your head goes cold. It's never caused any redness.

It is the mint oils in it, please don't worry. I have used it and think it is a good shampoo (also suffer from hair loss) and has a good thickening effect too. I wouldn't pay much attention to the internet scaremongering.

Hope you're feeling better today.
