Skin toner and face serum

I've found cleanser, eye cream and moisturiser that I'm happy with but still searching for a good toner and skin serum. I'm looking for a serum that really works. I can pay up to £15 for toner and up to £40 for serum. I'm especially interested in natural products and any containing coenzyme Q10. I really like Japanese skincare too!

Anyone any recommendations please?

Big fan of Kiehls Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate. It's main active ingredient is vitamin C. Also Clinique Laser Focus.

Oh, toner, have you ever tried rose water and glycerin? About three quid from Boots

forget toner. you dont need it. a splash of water is just as good. as for serum. Lancome Visionnaire every time, although i read an article at the weekend which suggests l'oreal have released Skin Perfection Serum which is the high street equivelant.

Second the Boots rose & Glycerine. I use at night only, to make sure all traces of makeup are off.

I'm using the La Roche Posay, Redermic R. And so far, it's good. However, SPF 50 needed at all times, in the day. Otherwise, it's counterproductive.
