Maternity Jean recommendations please :)

Hi

I am on the hunt for a black and an indigo pair of over the bump maternity jeans. I have ruled out topshop, my previous go to for jeans, as they are too baggy.

So I'm looking for skinny jeans which are comfy but hold there shape.

So what are your faves?

I think it depends on your shape, I am quite petite but curvy so New Look work well for me. H&M look like they might do a good skinny fit for the less curvy gal. The under bump ones tend to go south as they stretch unless you wear a belt, so I prefer over bump.

Thanks Anotherstitch, had forgotten about New Look. Preparing for a mass ordering and trying on session.

Anyone tried the ones from Asos?

I have the ASOS skinnies. They are nice but more like jeggings than jeans. I also found they are big on the waist and small in the thigh so depends on your body shape I think.

I can vouch for H&M. Nice jeans and reasonable too. Be prepared to size up though.

Thanks everyone. Think I'll do a new look, h&m and new look order to begin with and go from there.

Tops next but I have some that wil do me just now. Want to get jeans sorted first as I suspect they will be trickiest.

H&M are good.But re-visit Topshop when you are a bit further along.I've had 3 children and worn skinnies in each one.When I tried on my Topshop ones at about 14weeks last time thought I must be smaller that time around as they were baggy.By the end,they were too small.I was size 8 before pregnancy and the maternity jeans I wore were anything from 8 at the beginning and 14 at the end as that was the size left in h&M, seemed to fit so bought another pair for the last 6 weeks in a sale.There was no perfect pair either;under bump style was good until about 24 weeks,then overbump until the end.

Thanks Babouche I'll order some from Topshop too I think because I was a bit flustered in the shop when I tried them. It was roasting!

I'm 23 weeks and only just needing to buy some so I guess I should count myself lucky I have got this far before needing to tackle this challenge.
