Seen it in real life, also on a sales assistant and it looked gorgeous (although she was curvier than me and filled out the boob area properly which I may not do!).

What I want to ask is how do you see this being worn? Like could it adapt to being a day dress? What coat, cardi, jacket would you wear to it, and tights?

I love it, but don't go to many dressy functions (work from home, etc) so not sure how it would adapt to my wardrobe for winter....

Want it though.

Gorgeous dress. I deffo see it as a day dress and would wear it for work with nude fishnets or nude tights, heels and a blazer. Or I'd dress it down with opaques, slouchy ankle boots with a heel this sort of thing and a biker jacket.

You're a star! Love this idea. Wondering about coats though: i have a mid length navy wool coat from zara and a burberry trench. The trench would look great, but not so sure for colder days. It is very 'work' like, and since I don't have to leave the house to work I don't want to look overdressed.

But then I came to a conclusion a while ago that life (no matter what your lifestyle or workplace) is way too short to avoid clothes you love:)

You are absolutely right! You could always wear it to the pub or to go for a pizza or whatever - you'll take your coat off then anyway, so it doesn't matter if it doesn't really 'go' with the dress.

Pretty, but dry clean only! I wouldn't ever buy a dry clean day dress. Too pricey and time-consuming ( and I don't think dry cleaning always gets stuff very clean).

Bugger, i hadnt even noticed that. I feel the same about tshirts and jumpers.
