I need tweezers which work

My tweezers mysteriously disappeared when I was on holiday. Since then I bought a set of two from Boots. one is a lot narrower than the other, but neither are any good.

Can anyone recommend an effective make of tweezer?

TIA

Rolson fine pointed craft/electrical tweezers from Amazon will pull out the smallest hairs ever. About £2-3 or tweezerman slanted ones.

Tweezerman are the best. Expensive but worth it.

Tweezerman are expensive but worth it! They will last you years unlike mine which dp used to remove fish bones!! I binned them and got him some cheap ones!!

princessx · 07/09/2013 22:52

Yes tweezerman are the absolute best. They're about £12 compared to around £2 for the ones they're stocked next to in boots but they are so good. I bought them on recommendation otherwise I'd never have spent 6x the price.

Think they've got a guarantee too.

Haha my dh seems to be drawn to mine too. He uses and loses them all the time. Have bought about 3 sets in the last year!

I get mine from superdrug,QVS. They are cheap but very good.

Tweezeeman. Nothing else worth bothering with.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will be saving for some Tweezerman..

Tweezerman.
Do NOT use them in an area with hard flooring because if you drop them on tiles or marble flooring they will become misaligned and ruined. I'm on my 3rd ones because of this.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/09/2013 13:25

Tweezerman for sure. The extra expense is worth every penny.

FortyFacedFuckers · 08/09/2013 13:55

Agree with everyone else I always buy tweezerman ones

Yonihadtoask · 08/09/2013 14:10

Tweezerman.

I bought a pair about 10 years ago - maybe more - from QVC. I thought they were pricey at the time, but they are still in use.

RaisingArizona · 08/09/2013 15:40

Anyone know if you can get straight edged tweezerman's? My slanted ones scratch my skin. I can't find staight edged ones anywhere though.

Mintyy · 08/09/2013 15:42

I am very impressed with my Superdrug pointed tweezers. They have an incredibly tiny point so you can be very accurate. You can also use them sideways and take out several hairs at once (bit like threading).

Whitecat · 08/09/2013 15:52

Tweezerman are so good you will need to hide them.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 08/09/2013 17:37

I've had Tweezerman for years and they are brilliant.
I also bought a pair in a case but the ends were too chunky. I always lose the little silicone protector Hmm
