Dark navy trousers

I bought a pair of straight leg navy trousers for work, but what colour footwear? Any recommendations?

I wear lots of navy and consequently have a few pairs of navy shoes. Curretly on the lookout for navy loafers for the autumn/winter.

Tan or nude, I think. Or, if you are doing the smart/French navy and black thing, black shoes (but they have to be a bit cool and you have to have some black/navy on your top half too!). Maybe...

p.s. kitten heel pointy ones maybe???

Thanks both. Was thinking of a pair of something that has navy in them, failing that black shoes as long as I had something with black in it on the top half too! I've got some patent heels which are nice.

Also got tan/nude patent heels so will give them a go.

I've always steered clear of navy trews in the winter as don't know how to wear them (sounds stupid right?!), but bit the bullet today in GAP with their 30% off.
