Didriksons parka- where can I get one?

After reading on here, I have decided I would like to buy one of these, probably the Lindsay and Definately in a dark green colour but after a google search and saving up I can't find one!
Any ideas?

Do they have any on viking kids

SofaCanary · 06/09/2013 17:03

I was after one too but it seems that the Lindsey was only available last year from what I can tell.

Watching with interest...

UriGeller · 06/09/2013 17:16

I havent found one...Is there anything similar? Preferably without north face price tag?

thesoo · 06/09/2013 17:21

have you tried here. I have pre ordered the Tilde coat in peat which is a dark green.

I got my Lindsay parka online from William Law of Kirkcudbright and the customer service was really brilliant. I'd had it for about three days and a toggle snapped, and they replaced the whole parka without a quibble. And it was cheaper than anywhere else.

Thesoo- thanks, but seems very expensive.
Sophiedahl- thanks, but they don't have my size.
I will keep looking.

That looks lovely. I just bought th Veronica in black, but now I want the Taylor too....

LakeFlyPie · 09/09/2013 21:13

I really don't want to be cold this winter, Didriksons looks like it may be the way to go.
The Taylor looks great although I could do without the faux fur hood trim.

Could any aficionados comment on how the sizing is?

TIA

Tweet2tweet · 10/09/2013 12:56

I have the Veronica and would say that sizing is on the larger size. I bought a 40 and I'm a 12. It's roomy but I wanted that so I can wear a jumper. The arms are also long, which is great for me but not all. A lot of websites advise to buy a size down.

kiwidreamer · 10/09/2013 13:54

I got the Lindsey last year, awesome coat, faux fur easily removed, I thought I would add it back on in mid winter but forgot about it, didn't look odd not having it on. I was a 14/16 cross over then and ordered the 12, it was good sizing with room for a light layer underneath, no massive jumpers but a normal sweater / singlet combo was fine. I've since put on some weight and a size 16, the coat does up but doesn't look good so I'm weight watchering my arse off to get back to the right size, I will not freeze cos I was too lazy to drop the stone that has made the difference!!

Hope that helps with sizing, basically definitely size down!! I couldn't get myself into any kind of size 12 normally but with this coat it still does up, just doesn't look good!!!

The Lindsay was last years model and is no longer available (unless you're lucky enough to find somewhere with old stock).
