Spanx - with knickers or without?

Without.. But I always put a pair of knickers in my handbag in case.. Of I don't know what!! Ha ha.. Maybe going to hospital or something

Which kind? The shoulder-to-knee open crotch ones are designed to allow you to wee without undressing, you can however wear knickers underneath and pull them to one side, hooking through the gap and carefully re tucking . If knicker types I'd say not to bother if you're planning to wash them after one wear but definitely if not.

Ribs to knees. Split-crotch, so designed to be worn commando. But somehow the idea is...eeuw.

OTOH no VPL.

Can I overcome my sqeamishness?

I put a pair of loose pants (so as not to ruin the smooth line) over the top of my full body 'crotchless' spanxs!

I couldn't bear the thought of falling over & giving everyone an eyeful of spanx flap

I wear mine commando personally I think I need a bigger size as they are so tight to pull on and I feel a bit sweaty wearing them.

Only bring them out for special occasions.

Well, I went commando-Spanx. It was so comfortable! And my dress looked sooooo slinky and lovely. Unfortunately when I sat down the waistband of my tights promptly rolled down my sleek Spanxy middle and proceeded to strangle my waist. Owww. Totally ruined the line of my dress, as I discovered when I escaped to the loo to rearrange my tights.

Still, I am converted. (With long dresses. With short, not so sure - for fear of the Spanx-Flap)

Tights over Spanx is a nightmare, no friction, I've lived that nightmare! Stay ups underneath work well, for future reference
