Invisible earrings suitable for ear lobes - do they exist?

DD had her ears pierced on the first day of the summer holidays at the end of year 6 - wouldn't have been my preference but I remember how desperate I was to have mine pierced for years and just decided it's too trivial to make a big thing of. Plus 17 year old DS just went and got his nipple pierced when he felt like it so I am fighting a losing battle.

Anyway it's now transpired that she is not supposed to wear earrings at all in senior school. I honestly did not appreciate this as all her older brother's female friends from this school have ear lobes pierced (plus many more radical piercings).

We're already having traumas getting earrings in and out. I know the older girls keep their piercings open using clear retainers but is it possible to get something like that for an ordinary ear lobe piercing? I don't know where to look and I'm obviously failing to use the right search terms because all I can find are huge stretching things which definitely isn't required.
