Premenstrual Shopping

Might be a strange place to post this, but I rarely come away from S and B without a shopping list! But I have recently noticed that my impulsive shopping splurges and strong feelings of 'I must buy x or y' usually occur at the end if my cycle. Did a quick Google and guess what? It's apparently a well documented phenomenon. Just thought I'd share this - maybe it's common knowledge though!

That's really interesting - I usually have a couple of "thin" days after my period (all that water retention disappearing I guess) when I feel great & if I try clothes on then I often feel much better about myself and end up buying (if that makes sense).

Oh god, I have made several pmt shopping errors. Horrors like a bright pink velvet skirt that made my arse look twice its actual size (which is not small). So with me it's not just impulsiveness, but total loss of judgement.

I get that "I must get this hideous item, now, or it'll be TOO LATE!!!!" feeling - I know know to look out for it, but it still gets me sometimes.
