spent ages in M&S yesterday trying on loads and none fitted. Nearest to fitting is a balcony in a 30B. I measure 29 under and 33 around. Boobs are wide apart, some blobby bits at side. Looked in Fenwicks recently but no joy. No other bra shop near except la senza & I not want to go about in a fluorescent padded number.
Where can I go to either get fitted or just find something comfortable, attractive and that fits?

If you don't have a JL, Debenhams or House of Fraser near by then on-line shopping is going to be your best option (I do almost all my bra shopping on-line). Are you near a Bravissimo?

OK, you need to try 28D/DD and 30C/DD. A 30B is just going to be too small in the cup for you. M&S sizing is all over the place anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about the bras you tried on there.

Would you say you have shallow, wide set boobs? Are they heavier at the top or the bottom?

Hi, sorry I had problems getting back online yesterday.
I (and the kids!) went back to M&S today as I was desperate. And I got n Autograph balcony in a 32C. The 30B was too tight in the band, the 32B had the wire sticking in at the side and this one fits ok.
One day Iam going to book a fitting at John Lewis, Oxford St.
Thank you for a response.

Out of interest did you try that 30B on back too front, or just normally?

I would expect it to feel too small - the 32C is equal in cup volume to a 30D, so two cups bigger which would have made it feel too tight

Just normally. It is possible a 30D might have been better. I did hesitate over a 32 as I know it will loosen in a short time. However the relief at finding something at all and being in a changing room with three children meant I was not willingvto spend more time on it.
Also I have lost weight recently and if it goes back on over the winter a 32 might last longer.

That explains it. I would find a bra a couple of cups too small in my normal back size very tight - your boobs were stealing the band fabric :)

Next time you are trying on, do give the 30D a try - I suspect it's what you need but the 32C is a sister size so whilst not perfect is certainly in the right direction
