Hair dye advice required

I need to save money and avoid having my hair highlighted at the salon.

I am naturally light brown/dark blonde and grey is really coming in. Not exactly sure of natural hair colour any more tbh.

I want to continue being light blonde as I am v pale.

I bought some naturtint 10n from holland and barratt. But I read on here that it will not lift my hair enough and ill end up orange/ brassy.

What if I mixed in some jerome Russell 40vol developer with the naturtint colour rather than the Naturtint developer???

Would that work or am I being stupid?

For info I used to dye my own hair when I was young skint and at uni but that's 20 years ago.

Any advice would be helpful before I experiment on my barnet. Grin

Sorry I should mention that my grey hair is actually coming in white and colourless. (Attractive).
