cheapo handbag emergency

i managed to rip my current work bag this morning, by getting the strap all tangled up in the buggy.
new bag therefore needed, although sadly I do not have the standard MN Mulberry budget.

Has anyone seen anything decent for work, costing up to about £60 but ideally less? needs to be largish, to carry A5 diary, water, brolly and all the usual crap. Not black or tan, but don't mine any other colour or pattern. Also would like a zip fastening rather than a popper, as some git managed to pinch my purse from the last non-zip bag I had .

tk maxx definitely - go for leather in a brand you've never heard of and you should get something v nice. i got a black l credi leather bag there recently for £50 - never heard of the brand but it is a very nice bag

Another vote for tk maxx, they all seem to have a massive range and prices vary too.

i could get to tkmaxx at the weekend, and if there's nothing there I may treat myself to a Le Pliage - i love that it comes in so many colours.

until the weekend I will be modelling a very chic Sainsbo's bag for life. Lesson learned: it is impractical to have just one handbag.

yes - that must be the reason i have about 25 handbags

Tk maxx online worth a look too, if you order several with a view to only keeping one it will be free delivery and you can return to store but have found the stores always have more choice.
