Care after rebonding

I've had my hair relaxed before, but it didn't last long, despite all the right shampoos etc.

I had it rebonded yesterday. It is now VERY straight and very thin. I was expecting this I guess, but perhaps not quite to this extent.

The hairdresser tried selling me various potions and lotions, but told me nothing about actual upkeep. Is it like relaxing, where you can't wash for 3 days, or can I wash it tomorrow? Do I need to use sulphate-free products?

Thanks
