I have a very thin upper lip.

So thin, that when I smile it practically disappears. I've tried several lip plumpers, but tbh all they do is make my lips tingle a bit and give them some shine.

Can anyone recommend something that actually works? Or am i doomed to be 'gummy' every time i get my picture taken?

I don't fancy the idea of injecting myself with anything for fear of getting a huge 'trout pout'.

I have no advice but look at Kate Middleton - she has no upper lip but this has become much less obvious since she has been in the public eye.

She may have had some very good work done, but perhaps it's just clever lip lining/lipstick?

I have thinish lips , I use blistex relief cream every day ( have done for years) I swear it plumps them up a bit as it tingles when you put it on. I have soft lips too so win win

You can get some 'very good work done' by good drs because in truth nothing else is going to work.

As soon as I saw this I thought Kate Middleton.

I would guess that she hasn't had any work done on it though. Actually I think it shows off her teeth beautifully and it wouldn't cross my mind to think of it as unattractive.

I have the same but it's all about how you line you lips when I smile because you can still see the line/lipstick or gloss it still looks good the only time I have a problem is when I'm forcing so my dp tickles me to have a photo

To give the illusion of a fuller top lip you need a teeny tiny amount of matte white powder wiped just over your lip line. As if you were smudging white lip liner outside your lip liner. A pale concealer will also work.

I have been doing this for years!
