I know very very little about makeup but I do know my foundation/tinted moisturiser goes on better and stays on longer with a primer. i just don't know which one to try next.

have just finished a tube of smashbox - was ok, but not amazing

i used to use laura mercier years ago but tried some samples the other day and wasn't that impressed

I was considering benefit - the girl on the counter tried some on my skin and even with nothing else over the top my skin looked and felt amazing. does anyone have this one? do you rate it?

any other suggestions gratefully received! I have been googling and reading reviews but tbh just feel more confused as there are tons of options.

oh and my skin has tendancy towards dryness but i keep that under control with a good moisturiser. i also have very mild rosacea and use chanel vitalumiere foundation which I ADORE

budget - £30 absolute max but would prefer to spend a bit less

Flowers thank you

Shu uemera is brilliant. It's in a small can and comes out like a mousse. I went one day without it and hated how I looked! Personally, I thought smash box was duff.

The SU stuff is £29

I can't rate the benefit porefessional highly enough, but I do have horrid deep pores on my chin! Without this I look like I've been skelped with a golf ball! A tube lasts a long time even using it every day!

I like the Mally one. It's the only thing I buy from her range. Good for oily skin. Not cheap but 30 day returns even on make up

foxysocks · 31/08/2013 11:09

thanks so much, which take a look at all those now

chaoscarrie skelped is a brill word! the benefit girl told me it's kylie's favourite product, appaz.
