Wallets

Not really style and beauty, but...

It's my husband's birthday soon and amongst other things, I thought I'd get him a wallet. He is quite a conservative, so nothing flash or too trendy. I bought him a Mulberry suit carrier years ago, but nearly died when I saw the price of their wallets these days.

So, can anyone recommend a wallet that:

  • is squarish
  • has a change pocket
  • isn't covered in logos or Paul Smith stripes
  • is under £150

Thanks. If not, he'll get a book!

I would start in TK Maxx. They always have a good range of plain good quality leather wallets (& purses).

Comme des Garcons. I got one for my last birthday and it is beautiful.

And if you can't face TK Maxx try Aspinal . DH has a beautiful wallet from there.

Thanks, funnily enough I have tried TKMaxx and they had some Aspinals ones in there, but not the one with the coin bit. I may keep revisiting.
Any one seen the Tom Dick and Harry ones in the flesh?

Ted Baker is worth trying. Last one I bought was square and not embellished.
