whistles sizing

I am watching something on e bay and am never sure on sizing with Whistles stuff.

It is a jumper dress in size 12. I am size 12 but am worried it might look too baggy and shapeless. Should I try and get a 10 instead?

I think Whistles clothes are slightly bigger than average, I'm normally an 8 but always buy a 6 from there.

Their sizes come up big. I always size down. In fact the last thing I got from there was a pair of chino trousers that I had to size down to a 6 even though I am usually a 10.

I think generally they come up big. I'm a 12 and recently had to buy a size 8 in a jacket. It depends on your shape though - tops and jersey dresses tend to be v big on the shoulders for me in my normal size.
