Straight, flat hair- does anything actually give volume?

Even a salon blow dry and rollers and I still have flat hair!

Do any products really work?

I'm so fed up of hair stuck to my head and just hanging.

Any ideas?

I am in the same boat so I mostly rough dry my hair and tie it up high. However I got sea salt spray from l'oreal and it added volume. The best though is the John Friedan volume blow dry spray.

I tried a root perm last year but it only went and damaged my hair. The hairdresser back combs mine which does make a difference. Will hopefully get some advice!!!

Kevin Murphy Powder Puff hair powder. The only thing that gives me hair any volume whatsoever. Best used when styling after a wash and blow-dry.
