Next - just bought amazingly good stuff for work!

I just called in at Next and found they have got some really good things in for work. I bought these capri trousers, which are fab as come in different lengths and a couple of these in different colours. They work really well for me as they are 3/4 length sleeves and as I'm tall, standard arms are often too short. I've not been in there for ages, but I was really pleasantly surprised by the style, quality and price.

I have to say that usually I am no fan of Next and hated everything in their spring/summer collctions. Got the autumn/winter directory, though, and I have found myself coveting loads of stuff in it.

I think this season is a huge improvement on the last few. There are some really great things in gorgeous winter colours. have so far resisted temptation but not for long I suspect...

As a fellow tallie susiefen have they returned to the original tall sizing?
Lasst time I looked online it'd all changed and tall was no longer long enough iyswim?

Hi Say, I wasn't aware of it changing, but I've just looked and the Extra long jeans are 33", which isn't actually that long is it? My Diesel ones are 34. I'm only 5'9, but struggle with dresses particularly as the waists are always in completely the wrong place. Maybe better at Topshop Tall, which is very long (I think jeans are 36), but very limited range.

Gonna buy a couple of those sweater lovely and good price thanks

Next do extra long (33 inside leg) and tall (35 inside leg) so the actual tall ones are better

Thought it was just me. I did my usual scoot through to get to the Children's clothing but this time I actually stopped as there was some stuff I actually liked the look of for me. I didn't have time to try on so will go back this weekend.

I usually buy a few basics each season for work from there but this time I've gotten more than usual. Some lovely things, getting really unimpressed by the kids stuff though. Same old stuff rehashed each season.

Thanks susiefen, I have been looking for smart cigarette type trousers for work. Will give it a go.

Went in today and was really disappointed with the quality. All just felt really cheap. The basics tops were so thin and the one pair of trousers I liked had loads of loose threads.

I walked into next last week and thought they must have changed the departments round as I could hav sworn I was in the men's dept.

No I was in the women's but everything in brown, denim and black. Yuk.
