Lashfinity 3-day Mascara - worst buy ever

To anyone thinking of buying the new Max Factor 3-day mascara - don't bother! It's horrid, and doesn't even work.

The glue-like consistency stuck my eyelashes together into clumps, and straightened out my naturally-curled lashes. I had to use a bodkin (blunt darning needle) to separate the lashes as it dried!

The next problem was that anything oily (face cream, moisturiser, eye cream) made it smudge badly, to give "panda eyes". By the morning of Day 2, it was all over my skin, with very little left on my lashes.

I guess it might last longer on a young girl who didn't use any moisturiser. However, I need my face creams - otherwise I'd look like a tortoise wearing false eyelashes.

But a young girl would probably want a mascara to lengthen and "volumise" her eyelashes, not just tint them. So it's probably not suitable for anyone really.

Don't waste your money on Lashfinity, as you'll be very disappointed.

Good news - just phoned Boots, and I can return it for a full refund. But what mascara shall I buy instead

I was going to contact max factor and complain, but might go back to boots instead.

Also agree - was going to write a post myself. I absolutely LOVED the original Lashfinity that was out around 2001, it was amazing. It held the curl on your lashes, did not come off swimming, rubbing cream on it, could sleep with it and still look fab in the morning I was devastated when it was discontinued so was really happy when I found out it was coming back. However this version is overpriced shite.

Got it for holiday but in combination with sun cream and swimming in pool I had the worst panda eyes ever (that don't wash away easily). Totally unfit for purpose and it also just tints the lashes, no thickening or lengthening.

Did you need a receipt to get refund from boots? I didn't keep mine.

Please max factor - bring back the original Lashfinity! Old reviews on make up alley shows there's a demand for it.

Wish I had seen this before I bought it (and threw away afte r one use) - felt like glue on my eyelashes! Clever marketing/ advertising.
