Driving in heels

When I first started working as Sarah I always thought I would hate doing lots of driving in heels so would always have a trusted pair of flats in the footwell.
Well they've been there for two years now and I think Ive only bothered to change into them twice! Now I don't exactly wear skyscraper heels but most of my work shoes are a respectable 3inch and even 4 inch and I never feel uncomfortable driving in them.
Took a colleague to another office today and when we got in car she couldn't beleive I was about to drive in what she described as killer heels and that she couldn't possibly do that. I was quite flattered particularly given that I have only really had a couple of years of driving in them as opposed to some girls who have had decades to get used to it!
Ayone else have flatties in the car as a standby??

I take a pair of flats to drive in if I am wearing heels. I don't wear heels very often so just feel more comfortable driving in my flats.

I keep a pair of flats (loafers) in the car for when I'm wearing sandals, with or without a heel. I never feel like I quite have enough control over my feet (!) if I'm not wearing a full shoe.

I hardly ever wear heels - never killer - but wouldn't bother to change for a short drive (eg if I'm the designated driver after a meal out) but would wear flatties if I'm going several hours, just more comfortable.

I can drive perfectly happily in flipflops; the one thing I'd always change out of is walking boots as they're too rigid and you can't feel the pedals properly.

I pretty much always wear heels and drive in them. I would struggle to drive in flip flops though.

I feel far less comfortable driving in flipflops. I imagine them coming off and getting stuck under brake pedal!

I drive in flat shoes. Flip flops are fine but I do not like driving in heels. Not a major problem as I rarely wear them.
