pigmentation - eucerin vs lancome dreamtone

I have freckly sort of patches on my face, mostly around my eyes, which makes my skin look dull and dirty. It got worse during my pregnancy.
Has anyone used Eucerin for anything similar? Did it work? How much does it cost? I am trying to decide whether to give it a go, or if I should wait for the new lancome dreamtone. Do any other brands do anything similar?
I wear a day cream or bb cream everyday with an spf, so hopefully that will stop it getting worse. Any other tips gratefully received!

I don't have a recommendation but feel your pain and hope that some advice will come our way.

I can't say if it works as only been using for 3 days but the Eucerin one was on save a third in Boots last week (so about £15). The pack reads well! For me its replacing La Roche Hydra-something day cream with SPF (also about £15) and if the Eucerin one improves my skin great added bonus.

My skin isn't too bad but definite perma-freckles from my younger days of not enough SPF (now age 34). I also now use factor 50 la roche posay tinted anthelios on the stronger sunny days as I am out walking with the pram a lot.

Get some retin a from a dodgy website - and use a high SPF like Anthelios daily.

Sorry to be dense, why do I need to get retin A from a dodgy website? Is it not in products anyway? (I am not good at grooming / beauty stuff)

I've been using the whole eucerin pigmentation range for a couple of months now, with mixed results. I certainly see an overall brightening effect, but I think particularly with the concentrate being so strong, you need to be extremely careful with sun protection. I feel like it has made my skin a little more sensitive to the sun. But the creams are a lovely texture. I reckon I'll use them in the winter but I'd avoid in the summer and focus on protection then instead.
