Jessica Geleration - thoughts?

Thinking of getting this done for going on holiday. Anyone had it? Any good? What condition does it leave your nails in afterwards? I'm mindful of the health risks associated with the UV/LED lamps, but reckon just doing it very occasionally won't be that bad.

I love it - lasts 2 weeks for me before I can't bear the re-growth. I would have it done every fortnight if I could spare the time. I don't think having it done once will really affect your nails though they might be a little weaker

I had my toenails done at the beginning of August and they still look shiny and lovely, only regrowth beginning to be noticeable.
I then had my fingernails done last Friday and have scraped one, which has left a white scuff mark, and then today I caught my nail and it has taken a chunk out of the top which I have filed down, but will need to touch up with regular polish.

I think I will stick to having my toenails done, and leave fingernails for special occasions. They do look great and so shiny though.

IME both CND shellac and Gelish are better than the Jessica one.
I usually get two and a half weeks ish out of mine. Love it, although it does weaken my nails over time.

Thanks for the info everyone. My local salon offers Geleration, and realistically, I know I just won't manage to go anywhere else! I think I'll go for it and see what happens Smile.

Gel is way better than shellac. Shellac lasts 5-7 days but with gel I know I can get the 2 weeks I like. Great colours.
