Shopping help please!

I'm a clothing disaster area and really need some pointers before I have to buy fall clothing! I have no idea what to buy, where to buy it or what would suit me. I'm currently wearing a pair of levi's brought with me from the US, I have converse and a bunch of tees, couple of long skirts and some flat shoes. I'm 46, UK size 16/18 5'10" and homeschool three dc so practical clothing is essential.

I've bought the dc some clothing from Joules and Mini Boden recently but have not bought adult clothing anywhere in the UK except a hoodie in Gap! Please, please help? Many Thanks :-)

H&M (Hennes) also much better quality/more styles than in US and they do the bigger range.

Toast I hear is nice by friends who are mums and also Joules. We also have Evans - a store that does larger sizes. but then a few normal stores also go up to your size which isn't that big. trying to think of taller women ranges too. I may ask my friend what else she likes.

Check them out. They have stand alone stores as well as concessions in dept stores.
