Unlined leather shopper

Just asked a woman where she got her fab unlined leather shopper. It was Primark and it cost £7
Anyone know where I can get one that isn't £££'s? So hard to find a plain leather bag without studs, crap, rolled handles etc!

I have a lovely one very like that and it was from White Stuff, years ago (but has lasted). Try ebay.

That Ebay one is gorgeous. I've seen the Primark one - it's not real leather but is very nice for £7.

Oh Gap do them in nice bright colours.

Banana Republic might be worth watching for the sales, otherwise same sort of price as your ebay one

I have a fake leather one I paid quite a bit for from a boutique but have seen the same ones shipping from korea on ebay or in TK Maxx. I also have this leather tote which was a bargainous £21.24 delivered from thehut.com

Thanks Ceecee, that would have been perfect! I quite like the Oushka one on thehut.com but it has a line which detracts from its perfect plain-ness.

There is an ethical leatger tote (does not say if its lined etc)in todays Metro with a code for a discount of around 20% off. I Think the fill price is around the eighty pound mark.Might be qorth taking a look

I am also incredibly fussily looking for natural leather without frills and fripperies. And cheap.

There is a brand (German) which sells on Amazon, can't remember the name now, and I like theirs, but reviews say they still smell of the goat they were made from (or something)

That's the one banana!. That is EXACTLY what I am looking for. However I am somewhat disconcerted by the "money back if you can prove it's not real leather" at the bottom of the listing...

I've checked the Ebay reviews and a couple say it's a bit stinky like PVC. Seller says it's SPLIT leather that's stuck together with stinky glue. Other reviewers say it's a beautiful bag. Who knows? I've ordered a red one. I could let you know how it turns out :-)
