Yay - nomorebooze I love those and more so the price!! and they have them in a 4 and a 5 so I can try both. Thanks Smile

Ok - onto the cold factor....and maybe a matching bag pretty please!

I really have absolutely NO idea what I could wear over the top. Normally I'd shove on a cardi but really that would look shite I feel!

I tried this dress on last week looking for a wedding outfit. I'm 5'10 and it was almost knee length on me. It was really nice but I never, ever wear pattern and I was shopping in a hurry so it was too big a step for me to take spontaneously! Plus I didn't think I would wear it again as I have no other similar events coming up. But it was really lovely, a flattering shape and the pattern actually camouflaged my tummy really well.

sunnyupnorth I am the same. I thought it looked ok, but something stopped me buying there and then as ordinarily I'm not a dressy type person, but obv weddings call for more than skinnies and converse.
I've added a couple of pics to my profile and as much as you can't see my head ( as I was pulling the most ridiculous faces trying to work out how to do a photo ) does it look ok... I'm only 5'4ish so it's so of just on my knees. Think it's ok....ok, I'm now waffling.....

bobkate · 04/09/2013 22:44

sort of just on my knees...

nomorebooze · 05/09/2013 08:08

Thanks Smile

Is there anyone that can help with me with something for over the top? or am I just going to have to freeze? Sad

SunnyUpNorth · 06/09/2013 22:54

Ooh yes it looks lovely on you, and your daughters are divine! What little beauties.

I'm not great with outfit styling, it what about picking out one of the colours like the deep pink or teal and getting a neat, 3/4 sleeve cardigan in that sort of shade?

You might be ok without anything, or maybe a pashmina just in case if the wedding is quite soon.

MrsOB · 06/09/2013 23:16

You could just wear a pashmina... Look on eBay, they sell every colour imaginable and not too expensive Smile

bobkate · 07/09/2013 11:27

Thanks, yep maybe a pashmina will have to do! Smile

bobkate · 07/09/2013 11:29

oh and thanks sunny Smile

Mumsnut · 07/09/2013 14:03

bobkate · 07/09/2013 14:05
