Long lasting lipsticks

I love wearing bright lipsticks such as reds and corals etc as they really brighten up the face. However, they often seem to wear off very quickly. Any recommendations for quality lipsticks that actually stay on the lips longer than 5 mins.

Smashbox - I have a bright pink and beautiful red from them - they re really pigmented and last for ages.
I also gently exfoliate the lips (soft toothbrush) and then apply, blot and apply again.
Chanel do a lovely one too

I'll probably get totally slated for recommending such a downmarket brand on S&B, but the Maybelline SuperStay 24-hr color really does last that long on me.

Not a massive choice of shades though.

The only one that I've found that really doesn't shift at all is Max Faxtor Lipfinity. I wear it for shows and it even survives onstage snogging!

Ooh thank you. I've used Mac and also have a Chanel one. I love the colours and when I first put them on, but then puff gone next time I check the mirror!
Any other recommendations or colours?

Which Chanel one Turquoise?

Oddly - Lush emotional brilliance lip range. They stain like hell! But are great for all day wear

Try some Lipcote over the top?

I just started a thread to see if anyone wants a bright red YSL lipstick that I was given a while ago and will never use.

It's shade 111 rouge Helios.
