and I need some help. Please lovely knowledgeable s&b ladies.

I need comfortable shoes to wear to work, I'm on my feet all day and they are so sore after10 hours of standing up. I currently have a choice of either knackered ballet flats, or wedges which are just too high to be wearing for that long.

My list of requirements are:

  1. Thickish sole, I wear out ballet flats in a couple of weeks.
  2. Not too high.
  3. Can be worn with skinny jeans/trousers/skirts
  4. Look nice, and maybe a bit glam to combat the drudgery!
  5. Black. or navy blue at a push
  6. Very small budget - £30 -40
  7. Leather, or at least some kind of material that won't make my feet stink

So not asking too much really! Do these shoes actually exist or am I doomed to have achy, stinky feet forever?!

I bought a pair of Bow Trim Basic Casual Shoes from Barratts and they do the job for me. I am like you and I am on my feet all the time at work as I do 12 hour shifts in a care home. I would recommend them. Black at £20. I wear them with trousers and socks in my work, they look ok and shouldnt make your feet stink.
