Best control pants?

I am going to a wedding next weekend and I need to get some control pants to wear under my dress. Dress is fitted and just over the knee.

I am pear shaped and although dress looks lovely I want to look a bit smoother around my hips bum and thighs.

Any suggestions? I really don't want something that
shoves it up to my tummy
or makes my thighs look bulgy!!

I really rate Primark's control wear range. Most stores have a whole section now, and I find the pants that go right up to the underbust are fantastic.

Yeah I think that is part of the problem actually. So many places sell then now but am not sure which ones are any good! Not sure I can get to a Primark before the wedding. Any other brands recommended?

M&S has very decent ones..and they last and have good support built in..

That dress is beautiful! M and s but not necesarilly firm control, some of the lighter ones are better.

Thank you Smile

Could anyone provide links please?

I'm not sure whether knicker type ones would be best pr if I should go for ones that are like cycling shorts or even the sucky-in slips?!

With that length I'd go for a sucky in slip. It'll be difficult to get the shorts type long enough to prevent thigh bulges, but short enough not to show.

If you get a black slip with lace along the bottom it won't be so bad if it shows when you're dancing on the tables late at night. Revealing flesh coloured gripper knickers would be a bit embarrassing.
