Pigmentation on upper lip

Hello again!

So another beauty question..... Generally I have good skin but for about three years now, I get pigmentation on my upper lip every summer (fine in the winter when not tanned). I wear factor 50 SPF every day and a hat when on holiday. The pigmentation could be worse but it's not great and I am conscious of it as it looks like I have a moustache.

Any tips on how I can deal with this? Dermatologist recommended a cream but can't say the pigmentation looks any better. Or perhaps the cream stopped it getting worse.

Love having a bit of colour in the summer but hate having a moustache Hmm

It's the blender and Tretinoin cream thats needed to address pigmentation.

Thanks foxy. Sounds promising but a little concerned about the peeling and redness as I had super-sensitive skin at the best of times. Might ask the doc first.

So once you got rid of the pigmentation, was it gone for good?

It's gone for good, so long as I stay out of the sun.
