tethersend · 22/08/2013 11:45

Actually they have a nice red pleated skirt- here

GirlWithTheDirtyShirt · 22/08/2013 11:46

I have a black one from a couple of years ago in Oasis. Rides up a bit at the back though (not because my ass is big).

I like.

tethersend · 22/08/2013 11:47

Brilliant x post Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/08/2013 11:48

I've got a black one (ancient and from somewhere daft like John Rocha at Debenhams) and I love it - it gets more compliments than anything else I ever wear.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/08/2013 11:48

Tethers - is there an echo in here?

In here?

LadyMilfordHaven · 22/08/2013 12:13

might get black.
Imagining with the boden pink crew thing, and a casual air of insouciance

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/08/2013 12:15

I wear everything with black anyway - red skirt, black tights, super high black heels, black top, black jacket = sorted. :) Sod Trinny and Susannah and their, 'No colour with black' crap.

LadyMilfordHaven · 22/08/2013 12:15

black makes me look tired near the old visage.
unless loads of slap and in the evening. Really looks cack

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/08/2013 12:16

Well I'm so pale and anaemic generally that I always look tired anyway - black doesn't make it any worse!

noddyholder · 22/08/2013 12:17

I might try the black. I looked awful in black for a good few years in my early 40s Can wear it again now strangely

libertychick · 23/08/2013 22:43

Hmmmm ordered the grey version after reading this thread and collected it in store today - love the shape and fit, don't think I can deal with how sheer it is.... making me feel like I need a 'slip' Smile

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/08/2013 22:51

:)

Every TS I've been in (five different ones in the last few weeks) has failed me. I've given up.

libertychick · 23/08/2013 23:03

Remus I am now on the hunt for this skirt shape but in heavier material - will let you know if I find one.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/08/2013 23:13

Cheers!

There don't seem to be many around, except for v short ones or the American Apparel completely see through ones.

LadyMilfordHaven · 24/08/2013 08:59

apparently the black ones in stock at our local shop.
Im going in later if anyone is interested

Bexicles · 24/08/2013 09:21

Could I ask a silly question? Do these kind of skirts need to be ironed or do the creases keep in after being washed? I have visions of me ruining one after one wear.

LadyMilfordHaven · 24/08/2013 10:37

mine came quite crumply as had been in a bag. think a very very slow spin when washing

dexter73 · 24/08/2013 10:41

libertychick - Uniqo have a similar skirt that is lined (and cheaper!).
