Petite clothes

I am 5 foot 1 inch tall, small framed, and a size 10 (size 12 on a bad day). I'm 38. I have always struggled finding petite clothes, and I need suggestions please as to where to shop.

At the moment, I shop in the petite secions of:

M&S
Boden
Wallis (used to buy a lot here, but not so much recently)
DP (rarely)
Next (very rarely)

I sometimes buy things in Phase Eight (not petite) as the fit for tops can be ok and some of their dresses can be easily shortened. I buy jeans from Gap (long and lean) and get them shortened. My main problem with non petite ranges is the necklines, as everything comes down way too low on me, and is generally tight on my hips (my hips are where most people's waist is!), and too long.

Any ideas please as to where else I can shop? I am after casual stuff more than work stuff, and it has to be machine washable as the DC are bound to get me grubby within 5 minutes of me getting dressed!

The dreaded Lands End does petite sizes in casual stuff.
Precis petite is more upmarket.
Fenn Wright and Manson ( find in J Lewis) do petite but again mainly smartish stuff.
Monsoon???

I have a problem sometimes with fitted dresses because the waist is more on my hips, as I am short from waist to shoulders, which I find an issue with fitted shift style dresses.

I honestly think the brands you have mentioned are your best bet, especially Boden if you like their stuff.

Topshop Petite
Asos Petite

I buy Boden a lot too

The petite range in Monsoon was great but was discontinued a few years ago.

Fenn Wright Manson has stopped doing its petite range too. I found their petite clothes quite wedding-y (oyster crushed silk dresses, edge to edge jackets and the like).

Banana Republic is decent for petites

Try M & Co petite range too (online if you're not near a store). I get trousers from there sometimes and they are usually good styles and reasonable quality.
