Tear trough fillers

For those that have had it done- which filler was used?

I had a new product Belotero used which is good for that area apparently because it's colourless so no Tyndall effect and also because it doesn't absorb water and swell up like some of the others.

However I feel that 2 months on it's all gone! I have lost a couple of pounds so it may be that but I look old Sad

where did you have it done?

missbopeep · 21/08/2013 11:30

sorry- meant to add- aren't all fillers colourless?

CoteDAzur · 21/08/2013 11:40

Tyndall effect doesn't happen because of the color of the filler.

Your product is apparently known to have a shorter life.

It is a hyaluronic acid product so does absorb water.

SofaCanary · 21/08/2013 12:45

It's much less dense than regular hyaluronics and so doesn't puff up in the same way that they tend to do, the down side to that is that it doesn't last as long.

I have friends in the US that love it, while it lasts, didn't realise it had hit the UK yet.

I read that it can migrate to the eyes Shock

RosieLig · 21/08/2013 16:07

Oh ok thanks. I'm going to go back and see what she says. I did get a good result but because I had my cheeks done with Voluma which still looks good, I feel my eyes look even more noticeable now!

Don't despair Way- it's just another little thing some women have done to delay ageing.

RosieLig · 21/08/2013 16:58
