Public Service Announcement! (Yeah I typed that as 'pubic service' first time
)
I just wanted to check folk were aware that there's a lot of fake Egyptian Magic about at the moment (check this link if you're wondering what I'm on about - think 8 Hour Cream made to an apparently 1,000 year old formula).
I just bought some from Amazon before doing the research and was really concerned it was fake - I have horrendous skin and the last thing I need is a layer of poor-quality petroleum jelly from a Chinese factory.
There's a lot of advice online, but on a whim I emailed the Egyptian Magic people, and within 30 minutes they'd looked at some photos of the packaging and confirmed it's authentic. Talk about flipping customer service, but that's a whole other thread!
There is a list of authorised sellers on the Egyptian Magic site, so it's worth buying from there.
Apols if this has already been covered and nobody actually gives a shit
- but when I thought I'd dropped £25 on a whole bunch of fake my heart sank, so I thought I'd share!
